About the Ford Fusion

Initially envisioned as a top rival for cars like the Honda Jazz or the Nissan Note, the Ford Fusion failed spectacularly in this task and was outperformed in pretty much all aspects. Still, the idea was there, and while not the best car around, this MPV still has some qualities worth considering. When it comes to the driving experience, prospective owners can expect a precise and good ride but also a lot of body roll and a very firm suspension. In the design front, the Fusion does not score any points, it was already ugly when it appeared on the markets and continues this trend to this day, but looks aside, the car has indeed a very strong build quality and uses hard, durable plastics in its interior. On the space and practicality departments, the Fusion features an average head and legroom, a lack of storage spaces in the car itself and a reasonably sized boot. The high driving position is rather good and provides a very good view but it's undermined by the lack reach adjustments on the steering wheel which can turn the driving experience into a very annoying one. Safety wise, the Fusion is does not score top marks, but is by no means considered an unsafe car. It comes equipped with front airbags and, for an extra amount, it can also come with side and curtain airbags and also stability control system.
