The DS5 is stylish executive car available in three different specifications namely Elegance, Prestige and the special 1995 version produced specifically to celebrate the original Citroen DS's launch 60 years ago. The driving experience offered by the DS5 is quite divisive because while it's not the most fun or exciting car to drive around, it's also not the most comfortable one either although it does have a decent suspension capable of absorbing most bumps and potholes on the road. On the interior, the Citroen DS5 features a very edgy aerospace inspired look that features what is called the “cockpit roof” (basically it has three glass areas) and two consoles with the main controls located near the gear selector and overhead. Building and material quality, match and increment the premium feel the inside of the DS5 provides. As for the technology available, the DS5 is equipped with a touchscreen that controls all the infotainment capabilities such as navigation, media, and communications and it also features Mirror Screen technology so that you're able to pair you can rapidly access the contents of your phone through the touchscreen. When it comes to space, the DS5 performs reasonably. Drivers and passengers riding in the front will want for nothing in terms of space but those riding in the back may feel a bit cramped with the lack of head space, although leg and shoulder room is very decent and the seats are very comfortable. The 465 litres is not the biggest in the market but it still gets the job done. Customers should also be advised that if they decide to go for the hybrid version, boot space is sharply reduced to only 325 litres due to the large battery pack lodged underneath the boot floor.
