About the Dacia Duster

A small and reliable SUV, the Dacia Duster has many strong assets but its strongest selling point is no doubt its outstanding affordability. The Duster comes in three different trims. The basic model is Access, its available only in white and comes without any modern features. It gets only a 1.6-litre 104 bhp petrol engine. Ambiance is the mid-range trim and comes with radio, Bluetooth and split-folding rear seats. For this model, you can also opt for nicer upholstery, body-coloured bumpers, fig lights and USB connectivity. The high-spec Laureate adds electric rear windows, air-conditioning, chrome roof bars, scuff plates and door handles as well as alloy wheels. Both the mid- and top-range models get a 1.5 109 bhp dCi diesel unit and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The suspension is very good and the ride offered very comfortable. In the space department, the Duster performs well enough. The boot capacity is 475 litres, with 60:40 split-folding rear seats available for the Ambiance and Laureate trims. As for passenger space, there is a good amount of leg and headroom both in the front and in the rear.
